How flexible is this job?
You can consult on a full-time or part-time basis. The job can be fitted in around other commitments and family life.

Do I need to be insured?
Yes you do. You will need Public Liability Insurance at the very least and it is also wise to insure your products and materials. The most comprehensive insurance can be found through The Federation of Image Consultants.

Would I have to sign a contract with Paragon?
No. You will be a completely independent image consultant with the freedom to organise and choose how to run your business to suit you.

Will I be a millionaire after 12 months working as an image consultant?
Probably not! But you will be incredibly happy. For the majority of image professionals both here and in the USA, their hourly rate is considerably higher than when they were in their salaried job. You decide on your value and expertise and charge accordingly. The only boss you have to negotiate with for a pay rise is yourself!
